Relax and Rejuvenate with our Yoga Day Retreat
Our one day mini retreat on the 13th January 2018 will provide a mixture of developmental yoga practice, pranayama and relaxation.
This retreat is suitable for both beginner (with some experience) and improvers to yoga; and for those who would like to develop their yoga postures whilst exploring pranayama, mediation and deepened relaxation.
This retreat includes a 30 - 40 minute Core Yoga class, to further aid the development of core strength, which includes both the abdominals and lower back.
|Format for the day:
The day will start at 10 am with pranayama which will be followed by a dynamic Vinyasa based class (incorporating elements of Ashtanga yoga primary series), for approximately 2 hours. This class will then conclude with brief relaxation.
After a short break, you will be lead through a 30 - 40 minute session focusing on Yoga abdominal strength and core development. This class will conclude with full relaxation.
We then break for lunch.
Some shared elements are provided for lunch along with herbal teas, however you are welcome to bring extra for yourself.
After lunch you we will start with an introduction to meditation and further pranayama (breathing techniques).
The day will conclude with a restorative / Yin based yoga session.
Healthy snacks will be provided at lunch such as fruit, nuts, vegetable sticks, dips and cheeses. Herbal teas and coffee will also be available. You're welcome to bring additional items to supplement what is provided.
Please bring: A yoga mat, 2 blankets and 2-4 cushions with you.
